Not that anyone actually reads this blog or anything, but that doesn't really excuse my inability to keep up with it.
Just came back from Spring Break a few days ago. Nothing really exciting, I went home for a week and hung out with family. Over the few days I was home, I made a skirt, made my own earrings, bought parts to make my clock, made my little brother a YouTube star, and bought myself a pet newt. It was a pretty productive spring break. I also applied to summer internships, read a couple of books, and hung out with some friends from home. All in all, it was a much-needed rest. The reason I don't update this blog as often is because of all the work I had to do this break. I tried to take on 5 classes and 4 jobs, which seemed simple enough to do on paper but in reality, was quite difficult. I've since cleared up my schedule a bit and learned that sometimes, time management is more than blocking out every single hour of your day to perform a task--it's also knowing when it becomes too much.
I think that's basically it, I have a WORD! show next week that I'm super nervous about. I've performed in two medium-sized venues this semester so far, once in a show I organized for V-Day (I thankfully got extra support in the end from my friend Rob, but in the beginning stages of planning I was almost on my own on the WORD! end of things, Raisa and Daniela did a ton of course but organizing publicity and getting men to perform was especially challenging) and the other for Strong Sexy Words, which is an Open Mic that the WPC's have thrown the last two semesters.
That's all for now, kids.
